Wendy Kemp
Wendy Kemp has over 30 years of experience in adult education and has been part of MIMT since day one. With a background in competitive sport, physical education, and running her own women’s gym and NLP practice, Wendy brings a well-rounded and energetic approach to teaching.
Holding qualifications in Phys Ed, Massage Therapy, Personal Training, and NLP, she excels at breaking down complex concepts into practical, real-world applications. Wendy teaches key subjects like Anatomy & Physiology, Biomechanics, and Exercise Prescription, and is also the voice behind MIMT’s online anatomy courses — known affectionately to students as “The Voice.”
Her passion for empowering others is reflected in everything she does, guided by her favourite quote:

Greg McMillan
Greg McMillan has been a core part of the MIMT team since its inception in 1998, bringing a wealth of experience from both elite sport and adult education. As a former state hockey player and 400m hurdler, Greg’s passion for Sports Massage stems from firsthand knowledge of athletic performance and recovery. His career highlights include working with high-level athletes and serving as a Tournament Therapist at the Australian Open.
Greg also brings a strong background in Personal Development, which allows him to guide students beyond technical skills — helping them build confidence, challenge self-limiting beliefs, and grow both personally and professionally. His classes are energetic, practical, and deeply supportive, creating a learning environment that inspires students to reach their full potential. Many students continue to seek his guidance even after graduation, a testament to his lasting impact as both a mentor and educator.

Luke Troiani
Luke Troiani is an allied health professional with over a decade of experience in the health, rehabilitation, and fitness industry. As a myotherapist and acupuncturist, Luke is dedicated to providing high-quality treatment and effective ongoing care for a diverse range of clients, from the general population to professional athletes.
As the co-founder and head therapist at Avia Performance, Luke works closely with strength and conditioning coaches to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and performance training. His expertise in musculoskeletal therapy, acupuncture, and strength training allows him to develop holistic treatment plans that not only alleviate pain but also optimize movement and long-term function. He specializes in treating injuries such as disc bulges, tendinopathies, muscle tears, dislocations, and nerve impingements.
Luke is passionate about education and professional development. He regularly delivers seminars for health professionals and coaches, covering topics such as injury diagnosis, treatment strategies, and rehabilitation programming. As a clinician at MIMT, he mentors students in developing practical skills and mastering hands-on techniques. Additionally, he serves as a trainer in the Certificate III in Allied Health program, helping students understand the industry while making learning engaging and accessible.

Lily Chiu
Lily Chiu is a highly experienced Myotherapist with over 30 years in clinical practice, treating a wide range of soft tissue conditions. She works across two multimodality clinics in Melbourne and has developed a strong reputation for her work in injury management and rehabilitation. Lily has a deep passion for sport and has worked with athletes at the Australian Open, as well as multiple Olympic, Paralympic, and Commonwealth Games.
Her extensive experience spans sports such as AFL, NRL, cycling, and swimming, allowing her to bring real-world expertise into the classroom. Lily has been a trainer at MIMT since 2009, where she specialises in dry needling, electrotherapy, and advanced clinical techniques. She also facilitates professional development workshops and has presented at national industry conferences.
Lily is passionate about the evolving role of massage and myotherapy in healthcare. She creates a supportive learning environment, encouraging students to build confidence, refine their clinical skills, and become compassionate, capable practitioners who contribute to the growth and professionalism of the industry.

Michael Stanborough
Michael Stanborough is a globally respected educator and practitioner with over 40 years of experience in Structural Integration (Rolfing®). He has been part of MIMT since 1999 and brings a unique, engaging teaching style to his Myofascial Release classes.
Michael teaches in both the Diploma of Remedial Massage and the Postgraduate Myofascial Release II course, focusing on helping students understand fascia and apply techniques that realign the body, open joints, and improve neuromuscular function.
He is the first Australian certified to teach by the Rolf® Institute and has taught across the U.S., Asia, and the Pacific. Outside the classroom, Michael enjoys Tibetan Buddhism, tennis, photography, and gardening.

Matt Natoli
Matt is an experienced Myotherapist with a background in both clinical practice and elite sporting events, including the 2009 Track Cycling Championships, Melbourne Marathon, and the Royal Melbourne Flower Show. His key areas of focus include sporting and occupational injuries, postural dysfunction, chronic back pain, headaches, and arthritis.
A passionate sports enthusiast, Matt has played and followed a range of sports including football, basketball, golf, cricket, and running. He’s a proud Carlton Football Club supporter and has worked locally with the Kew Football Club.
Currently practising at Balwyn Sports & Physiotherapy Centre, Matt regularly collaborates with physiotherapists through a structured professional development program, gaining advanced skills that elevate his clinical practice and outcomes for clients.

Czigany Alblas
Czigany is an experienced Remedial Massage Therapist with over 10 years in the industry, working across corporate, mobile, sports, and clinical settings. She currently practises in a multi-disciplinary clinic and is furthering her expertise through a Bachelor of Health Science in Chinese Medicine. Her approach to care blends allopathic and complementary medicine, promoting holistic, integrative health outcomes for her clients.
In the classroom, Czigany brings her clinical knowledge and passion for education into a collaborative, inclusive, and engaging environment, encouraging students to grow with confidence. She specialises in foundational practical and health science subjects, and is dedicated to supporting students from all backgrounds and learning styles as they begin their journey in the health industry.

Sally Mason
Sally Mason is a highly experienced Myotherapist who operates her own private clinic in Eltham. Her massage journey began in 1998 with certificates in Sports Massage and Oriental Massage, followed by the Diploma and Advanced Diploma of Remedial Massage (Myotherapy), both completed at MIMT. She also holds additional certifications in Pregnancy Massage and Sports Training, and volunteers as a medic at her local football clubs.
Sally has a strong interest in hip pain management and has undertaken further training in post-hip arthroscopy rehabilitation, along with ongoing professional development in pain science, neuroplasticity, and functional movement. She is a registered member of Massage & Myotherapy Australia, WorkSafe Australia, and actively engages in workshops and professional forums to stay at the forefront of industry knowledge.
As a trainer in the Diploma and Advanced Diploma programs, Sally brings a wealth of clinical experience into a relaxed, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. She is passionate about mentoring students and guiding them to become confident, capable, and compassionate therapists.

Diana Gaze
Diana is a qualified Myotherapist who completed her Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy at MIMT in 2014. With a passion for injury prevention and rehabilitation, she is dedicated to helping people live better, more active lives through targeted myotherapy treatment.
Over the past seven years, Diana has worked across a wide range of settings — from corporate massage and sports clinics to major events like the Melbourne Marathon and Asia-Pacific Ironman. Since 2014, she has been a valued member of the Western Bulldogs (AFL) medical team, working with elite athletes and everyday individuals alike.
Known for her systematic, thorough, and educational approach, Diana blends clinical precision with a positive attitude that empowers her clients. Outside of work, she’s a passionate swimmer, stair runner, and baker.

Nieves Hannington
Nieves Hannington is an experienced Myotherapist who runs a private practice focused on treating adolescent athletes with soft tissue injuries. Passionate about both treatment and education, she empowers young clients and their families with knowledge around injury prevention and recovery.
As one of the first graduates of MIMT’s Advanced Diploma of Health Science (Myotherapy) in 2006, Nieves brings extensive industry experience into the classroom. She teaches across multiple qualifications, with a special interest in Modern Cupping and Manual Lymphatic Drainage. Her teaching style is warm and supportive, helping students build confidence and grow into capable, passionate practitioners.

Lynette Jones
Lynette Jones is a dedicated Myotherapist and MIMT graduate with over 14 years of clinical experience. She currently operates her own private clinic in Melbourne’s northern suburbs and has been a valued trainer at MIMT since 2017, delivering content across the Certificate IV, Diploma, and Advanced Diploma levels.
With a background as a Karate instructor of 30 years and a Reiki Master in the Usui Traditional Method, Lynette brings a holistic and movement-based perspective to her teaching. She is passionate about advancing the massage and myotherapy industry while promoting self-care and professional longevity for students and practitioners alike.
Lynette creates an inclusive, supportive classroom environment, focused on building confident, well-rounded therapists prepared for long-term success in the industry.

Donna Caruana
Donna Caruana is a qualified Myotherapist with over 15 years of experience in sports, clinical, and corporate massage. A graduate of MIMT, she has worked with elite teams including Essendon Football Club, Melbourne Storm, and various national rugby, cricket, and netball teams, both locally and overseas.
She has also spent over a decade in clinical practice at Sherbourne House Osteopathy Clinic, treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. With a Diploma in Contemporary Pilates, she integrates movement-based therapy into her approach.
Donna has been a Trainer and Assessor at MIMT since 2016 and is passionate about guiding students through their journey in the massage industry.

Philippa Shantz
Philippa Shantz is a Remedial Massage Therapist who graduated from MIMT in 2012. A certified Oncology Massage Therapist, she has spent the past 8 years working at the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Research and Wellness Centre at the Austin Hospital, providing specialised care to patients undergoing cancer treatment.
Philippa also works with Northern Health Home Care, supporting patients in their homes through rehabilitation, aged care, and end-of-life care. Her compassionate approach and clinical experience make her a valuable mentor for students entering the healthcare space.

Gulcin Mertens
Gulcin Mertens followed her passion for massage later in life, training at MIMT and turning her dream into a rewarding career. Now a well-known Remedial Massage Therapist in her local community, she has worked for several years at Martin & Coupe Chiropractic in Watsonia and the award-winning Banyule Massage Therapy Centre in Heidelberg.
Since joining MIMT in 2015, Gulcin has been a passionate and energetic Trainer and Assessor across both the Certificate IV and Diploma of Remedial Massage. She brings motivation and warmth to every class, inspiring students to believe in themselves and love what they do.
