Sarah Nehme

Exercise Prescription

Sarah Nehme is the Global Head of Programming for BFT (Body Fit Training), bringing a powerhouse blend of elite sport experience and a deep passion for human performance to the global stage.

With over eight years working across top-tier sporting codes in Victoria, Sarah’s journey began in soccer before moving into the high-intensity world of rugby with the Melbourne Rebels Women’s 7s team.

She later became Head of Rehabilitation and Strength at the Essendon VFL team, where she played a pivotal role in athlete development and return-to-play strategies.

As a strength and conditioning coach, Sarah's philosophy goes beyond sets and reps. She's driven by a mission to empower individuals - athletes and everyday clients alike - to become the strongest, most resilient versions of themselves.

Passionate about coaching and human potential, Sarah now drives global training innovation while empowering others to become their strongest selves.

Elicia Crook

Elicia is a business coach and mentor to hundreds of other massage therapists, sharing the tactics she used to create her business success over 25 years. She remembers what it was like at the beginning to get up every day and treat only a handful of clients with gaps in between – and the sinking feeling when you look into next week’s bookings and see it’s going to be lean.

Through this experience (and by making many mistakes along the way) Elicia discovered what works and who she needed to be in order to run a successful massage business. Now she takes this blueprint to her clients to build more success and passion, and to drive the massage industry forward.

Kylie Hicks

Kylie Hicks is a highly experienced chronic pain clinician who has dedicated her 20-year career to helping people break free from complex pain patterns. She blends decades of hands-on expertise with a deep understanding of nervous system regulation and repatterning embedded muscle memory.

Renowned for her unique ability to connect with clients, Kylie combines empathy with trauma-informed care to unravel intricate pain stories. She has become a trusted referral point for chiropractors, osteopaths, and psychologists seeking an alternative perspective for clients who haven’t responded to conventional treatments.

Kylie’s mission goes beyond symptom relief, she empowers clients to understand their nervous systems and reclaim stability over their health. Through her work, she transforms not just pain, but lives.

Jackie Kerin

Folding Towels Podcast Host

Jackie stumbled into studying massage therapy almost accidentally, to get from one job to another. She was looking for a career that had real purpose and brought meaning, not only to her life, but to those around her.

When Jackie started learning about massage therapy, she thought it would be a stepping stone to something else. What she found was a wonderful gift, for her clients and herself. Jackie knew immediately that massage therapy was the industry for her.

Jackie has worked with pregnant clients, elderly clients, stressed out new mums, working mums, older folks and sick folks needing lymphatic drainage massage and so many others, helping people, and connecting with them.

It has brought Jackie joy to be able to work with clients creating a positive difference in their lives. As an Admin of a dedicated Facebook group for massage therapists in SA during part of the last decade, she has had the privilege of seeing many therapists gain confidence, grow their skills and develop wonderful connections with other therapists. Starting the Folding Towels Podcast was a natural extension of that connection and community.

Fifteen years after falling into massage therapy, Jackie still loves the industry and cannot wait to see how it evolves over the next decade.

David Clayton

Folding Towels Podcast Host

David has been massaging for a long time, but massage was never supposed to be his career (or so he thought). As a child, I wanted to be an engineer or mechanic however he fell in love with maintaining the human body!

The power of human touch has been at the centre of who David is since birth. He has developed an interest in bodywork as he progressed with his sport, and even more as he became a sports trainer.

But his massage career did not really start until 2015 when he sought a soul change after 16 years of driving a desk. David’s background is in sports administration with an emphasis on strategic planning and policy.

When I did go back to study massage again, I had wonderful teachers who nurtured him to explore some special treatment styles and to find his own groove. He thought he would work with elite athletes, but instead, he found a love of supporting people to recover from very old injuries, working with jaw pain, whiplash and pelvic dysfunction.

David loves mentoring massage therapists who are new to the industry to explore their passion, their niche and to find their own unique style. David is now experimenting and exploring what his style might look like for the next chapter of my career.
